Stop the engine and cutting attachment. Make sure the gear unit is cooled if changing a
model that uses a gear box. Grasp spool housing and the tapping side of head. Insert thumb
into release tab hole and press down firmly toward the base of the spool housing. This will
release the tab. Rotate head 180 degrees and repeat on second tab.
